Ueki Shihan, Chief Instructor and Head of JKA Japan

He will be visiting our country from 6 - 13 November 2010 and will be visiting different regions, to be advised, and conducting courses including judge, referee and instructor (ABC’s) examinations and an International Grading for 4th dans and above.  These gradings will be held at the SA JKA HQ in Illovo, Johannesburg.

We would like to encourage all our members that are ready to attempt these gradings to make every effort to participate in this prestigious event.

All sixteen years and older black belts must take advantage of this one time opportunity to train with our association’s Chief Instructor from Japan.

Early Birds Training

The official training for SA JKA Early Birds is on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (06:00 to 07:00) at the Honbu Dojo (Wanderers).

All registered black belts  are welcome. Fees are R350 per month (paid directly into SA JKA’s bank account). Dojo Heads train free of charge.

We encourage Dojo Heads to attend as many of these trainings as possible to promote standardisation and quality within our association.
